Founded in 1970 and began operations in January 1971 operating cargo charters and contract flights. The company received a suplemental certificate in 1976. In 1994, the company received domestic scheduled passenger authority. On September 2, 1996, the FAA grounded the airline over training and record keeping issues. The company entered bankruputcy on November 18, 1996 After the certificate was reinstated by the FAA, Rich could not obtain funding and liquidated the airline on September 4, 1997.
